Clox On Time is a family run business in Dorchester. The proprietors are Graham and Debbie Bebington.
Debbie spends her time carefully servicing and restoring all types of timepieces / clocks watches and barometers.
Graham spends his time repairing modern battery clocks and quartz watches or manufacturing parts in our well equiped machine shop.
We are proud to say that the only time that we employ outside labour is for extreme work on dial and case restoration. All our work carries a 12 months parts and labour warranty.
We will visit any local area, although there will be a small charge.
We will also, on most occasions, accept your clock or timepieces in part exchange for any item in the shop, we don't mind what condition it's in.

Your beloved item will be meticulously stripped and inspected, you will be kept updated at each stage and even encouraged to come along and see the work carried out.
Drilling 0.2mm escape wheel to replace broken pivot, for a carriage clock platform using the old fashioned bow, this method we always use when burnishing/polishing clock/watch pivots. Rememer when using a bow you must use a drill that cuts both ways.
Drilling a 0.1mm on our new home made pivot drilling machine. This works well and is much faster than using a bow but not as much fun and satisfaction.
